Joan Hanson, MPT, PRC
Company: Sanford Physical Therapy Solutions Joan graduated from the University of South Dakota in 1990 with a BS degree in Athletic Training. In 1992, she earned her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the Mayo School of Health Related Sciences in Rochester, MN. Joan started Physical Therapy Solutions in 1999. She was introduced to the Protonics Neuromuscular Repositioning System in 2000 and was soon taking the Postural Restoration Institute classes. She has taken all the classes twice and became certified in 2005. She has spent the last 8 years working on educating and marketing to area physicians and physical therapists about PRI concepts. The local hospital system took notice as their physicians started asking administration at the hospital to get a provider on site doing Postural Restoration. Joan, therefore sold her practice to the hospital in April 2008. She is now the Director of Sanford Physical Therapy Solutions. In the News |
