Kyndall received a BS in Physical Therapy from the University of New Mexico in 1989, and a MS in Human Movement Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1996. She earned her PhD in Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2006 and did her dissertation on Postural Restoration:  “Ethnography of the Postural Restoration Subculture:  a Posture Based Approach to Patient/Client Management.”  Kyndall has practiced physical therapy in a variety of settings including university hospitals, sports medicine centers, out patient satellite clinics, and home health. She began her study of PRI concepts in 1997 and earned certification in December 2008.  Kyndall is a full time Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona where she teaches Therapeutic Exercise and Musculoskeletal Therapeutics I and II as part of the DPT curriculum. She also practices part time at Mari Dieckman Physical Therapy and at The Peaks (a skilled nursing facility) both in Flagstaff.
