Tina graduated from South Dakota State University in 2000 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training. In 2003, she received her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of South Dakota. She currently works full-time as an outpatient physical therapist and occassionally covers sporting events as an athletic trainer. Tina consults with the SDSU Athletic Training staff and assists with the care of collegiate and high school athletes. She is especially passionate about working with runners. Another one of her favorite populations to work with is pregnant women and new mothers. Working in close vicinity to OB/GYNs allows for many referrals for Postural Restoration. After being put at Maximum Medical Improvement herself and still having a lot of pain, Tina discovered Postural Restoration. Postural Restoration, with the help of a dentist and a podiatrist, has helped relieve her pain by acheiving a neutral position of the sacrum, sternum & sphenoid; this has fueled her passion for the science.
