The clinician will gain an appreciation for the influences of an asymmetrical pelvis and how this imbalance contributes to pelvic floor dysfunction. We will explore in detail the anatomy of the pelvic floor, the respiratory influences of the pelvic floor and the effects of asymmetry in a multiple chain system as it relates to function. Participants will be able to restore pelvic and respiratory neutrality through a PRI treatment approach. PRI treatment integration for the following pelvic floor dysfunctions will be discussed: incontinence, hypertonicity, prolapse and SI instability. |
