This past year, Brent earned the designation of Postural Restoration Trained™ (PRT) as a result of advanced training, extraordinary interest and devotion to the science of postural adaptations, asymmetrical patterns, and the influence of polyarticular chains of muscles on the human body as defined by the Postural Restoration Institute®.

Jennifer Gloystein, DPT, ATC, PRC (03/27/2012)
Jen received her doctorate degree in physical therapy at Rockhurst University in Kansas City. Following graduation, she began her career as a staff physical therapist at the Hruska Clinic. In 2010, Jen began working part-time at the Postural Restoration Institute focusing on clinical support and development. In 2011, Jen earned the designation of Postural Restoration Certified (PRC) as a result of advanced training, extraordinary interest and devotion to the science of postural adaptations, asymmetrical patterns, and the influence of polyarticular chains of muscles on the human body as defined by the Postural Restoration Institute®. In April of 2012, she started a full-time position as Director of Education and Credentialing at the Postural Restoration Institute. Jen continues to see patients as well at the Hruska Clinic.

Jason Robey recently earned the designation of Postural Restoration Trained (PRT). He is one of the first to have earned this designation through the Postural Restoration Institute. Jason practices at Appalachian State University.

Liz Wheeler, PT, DPT, PRC (04/25/2011)
Dr. Wheeler is a physical therapist who specializes in sports medicine – helping athletes with injury rehabilitation, injury prevention and techniques to enhance their personal performance. Her commitment to helping patients achieve their personal best includes knowledge of disciplines that are expansive and not in the typical range of protocol for physical therapists. She considers advanced knowledge from a diversity of topics (such as nutrition, neuroscience, and postural restoration) as important components in helping athletes gain competence in “how to most effectively and efficiently operate their own finely tuned machine.”

Julie Hereford, DPT (02/10/2010)
Julie Hereford is a doctor of physical therapy. She has 25 years of experience in physical therapy practice and teaching and has specialized in manual and manipulative therapy and orthopedics. She has practiced in multiple areas of physical therapy such as sports medicine (including work with a professional baseball team), work injury management, multidisciplinary chronic pain management, treatment of tempromandibular joint dysfunction and women’s health. Dr. Hereford has taught many courses for physical therapy and anatomy, both at the University level and for continuing education. She enjoys working with patients day to day as well as teaching and learning from other medical professionals.

Estelle LeClair, MSPT, PRC (09/03/2009)
Estelle completed her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy at Springfield College in Springfield, MA where she worked with college athletes. She founded LeClair Therapy, Inc in 1997 and joined as co-owner Essex Physical Therapy in 2001. Her 16 years of clinical practice in physical therapy lead her in 2007 to the designation of Postural Restoration Certified (PRC).

Mara Brandsoy, OTR/L, PRC (05/22/2009)
Mara graduated from the College of Saint Catherine located in Saint Paul, Minnesota in 1999 with a degree in occupational therapy. She has been practicing PRI since 2002 after attending an in-service on Protonics. In 2008, Mara became the first occupational therapist to be certified in Postural Restoration. She is currently the manager for the OT department at IMPACT Physical Medicine and Aquatic Center located in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Michal Niedzielski, PT, PRC (03/09/2009)
Michal graduated with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw, Poland in 1992. Prior to starting the Physical Therapy Center of Horseheads in 1996 with Joyce Wasserman, Michal worked as a physical therapist for the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. In 2007, Michal earned the designation of Postural Restoration Certified (PRC). He then returned to Poland to introduce concepts of Postural Restoration to hundreds of students and physiotherapists.

Heather graduated from the College of St. Catherine with her Master of Physical Therapy degree in 1999. She has worked in outpatient orthopedics since and has had extensive training and education in the areas of pelvic dysfunction and manual release and mobilization techniques. She has been a women’s health therapist for 9 years and appreciates the complexities of the human body.

Mike Hoefs, DDS, FAACP, FADI (10/16/2008)
Dr. Hoefs has been in private practice for over 29 years spending 16 of those years in Lincoln, Nebraska. In 1979, he earned his dental degree from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry. As a strong believer in personal growth, he is always pushing his own educational boundaries. He has participated in over 1,000 hours of TMD, dental sleep medicine, and orthodontic continuing education.

Allen Gruver, PT, ATC, PRC, CSCS (08/04/2008)
Allen received his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy with honors from Elon University in 2003. He began his post secondary education at Northern Iowa University where he studied Pre-Med and earned his Athletic Training Certification in 2000. In 2006, he earned his certification from the Postural Restoration Institute becoming Arizona’s first and only certified therapist.
