Michael is a clinically-based athletic trainer with 25 years of experience in rehabilitation and performance training. He is the owner of Integrative Rehab Training LLC which provides Fitness Rehab services, consulting and educational programming on varying topics related to rehab and training. He is an NATA Certified Athletic Trainer and a registered Physical Therapy Assistant in California. He is Clinical Adjunct Faculty at the University of New England and is a Certified Clinician through the Postural Restoration Institute®. Michael specializes in the treatment, rehabilitation and training of individuals and has worked with all levels of athletes. He has provided consultation, treatment and/or presentations to NFL teams, the US Ski Team, Mike Boyle Strength & Conditioning, Cressey Sports Performance, Perform Better seminars, Stars On Ice tour, national level rugby teams as well as numerous dance studios, sports teams, fitness facilities and running clubs. He is a consultant to the Miami Dolphins football team.
Michael is an internationally recognized lecturer and has presented extensively at conferences and seminars as well as provided podcasts and webinars on topics related to sports medicine, rehabilitation, training and conditioning, respiratory influences on function and performance, system asymmetry, integrating Postural Restoration (PRI®) into rehabilitation and performance training, performing arts medicine and assessment and treatment of orthopedic injuries.
Michael has co-authored a book titled Comprehensive Approach to Sports Injury Management, a chapter in Knee Ligament Rehabilitation called “New Techniques in Cartilage Repair and Replacement”, and published articles in multiple professional journals, most recently an article in Training & Conditioning titled “Finding Balance”. As a sports medicine specialist, he has been a consultant for numerous publications such as Shape, Women’s Sports & Fitness, Women’s Sports Connection, Men’s Fitness, Skiing, and Windsurfing magazines.
