Aimee Miyazawa is a Certified Athletic Trainer and manual therapist who works with athletes of all ages to identify, treat and rehabilitate injuries, assess and correct faulty movement patterns, dysfunctional posture and provide education and strategies to help get them back to their sport and active lifestyle.
Aimee provides a caring approach and believes in treating the whole person and not just the site of injury and is passionate about helping them get better.
She is also an athletic trainer for the University of Colorado Sports Medicine department with the women’s volleyball and women’s golf teams.
As a former Head Athletic Trainer for USA Volleyball Beach National Teams, she supported the men’s and women’s Beach Volleyball Teams at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Prior to her stint with Team USA, she served the University of Kansas Athletics as the Athletic Trainer for the Women’s Indoor Volleyball Team. Along with her extensive experience with both indoor and beach volleyball, she also was a member of the USA Wrestling Medical Pool from 2005 – 2015 and has experience with a variety of sports.
As a clinician with over 20+ years of experience, she has spent time at various athletic settings, Division I and II NCAA collegiate, professional and Olympic sports, hospital settings and is also Postural Restoration Trained through the Postural Restoration Institute in Lincoln, NE.

Aimee holds both a Bachelor of Arts degree in kinesiology, emphasis in athletic training from a CAATE accredited clinical program at the University of Northern Colorado and a Master of Education degree in Sports Administration from the University of Nebraska Kearney.
She is a Colorado native who grew up in Lakewood, enjoys playing the Taiko drums as a performing member of Denver Taiko, enjoys the outdoors, hiking, SUP, etc.
