Jennifer graduated from the University of Vermont in 1991, earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Therapy. She began her post-graduate study in Postural Restoration in 1999. In 2005, Jennifer earned the designation of Postural Restoration Certified (PRC) as a result of advanced training, extraordinary interest and devotion to the science of postural restoration adaptations, asymmetrical patterns, and the influence of polyarticular chains of muscles on the human body as defined by the Postural Restoration Institute. Jennifer believes her mission of certification is education and therefore has mentored and trained several physical therapist and athletic trainers. She has been a faculty member of Postural Restoration Institute since 2010.
Jennifer and her husband Chris are former owners of Poulin Performance in South Burlington, Vermont. They owned this practice from 2002 until 2013. Together they share a special interest in the integration of PRI into injury prevention programs. In 2012, they moved their family to Pinehurst, North Carolina and opened Sandhills Sports Performance. Their practice has developed into servicing the military community and golfers of all ages and abilities. Sandhills Sports Performance attracts athletes and clients from all over the region for both rehabilitation and strength and conditioning programs.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys reading, running, hiking, golfing and spending time with Chris and their daughters Madison and Devon, and dog Bennett.
