Originally from Sioux Falls, SD, Kristi earned her physical therapy degree from USD in 1994. She practiced for three years at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Norfolk, NE. For 11 years, she was the director of Countryside Physical Therapy in Madison, NE, an outpatient clinic within a long term care facility. Due to growth of outpatient services, she opened Taylor Creek Physical Therapy in Norfork in 2009.
Her interest in PRI began in 2002 when Ron Hruska spoke on the integrated approach to treatment of Lower Half Musculoskeletal Dysfunctions. Since then, she has incorporated PRI concepts in all patient populations and with nearly every client in her practice. Kristi is excited to be a part of the Postural Restoration Institute™ and the growing number of PRI clinicians. She appreciates the advanced education, training and techniques that allow her patients to respond to a method of treatment that makes a difference in their lives. Kristi is a PRI Vision Trained Therapist, as a result of completing the Postural-Visual Integration course. In December 2012, Kristi earned the designation of Postural Restoration Certified (PRC) as a result of advanced training, extraordinary interest and devotion to the science of postural adaptations, asymmetrical patterns, and the influence of polyarticular chains of muscles on the human body as defined by the Postural Restoration Institute®.
