Phil is a PRI-credentialed Strength & Conditioning Coach and Licensed Massage Therapist with certifications in strength training, joint health, and mobility. He has extensive experience integrating rehabilitation and training, having worked with youth, collegiate, & professional athletes, weekend warriors, as well as complicated orthopedic and neurological cases.

Phil earned a degree in Sports Medicine from Marist College in 2013 and worked for several years as a trainer at high-end Manhattan gyms. He found PRI after searching both academia and the health & fitness world for an answer to years of pain and dysfunction leading up to and following five surgeries to his hips and knees. PRI allowed him to regain an active lifestyle that he feared may have been lost, and he went on to become credentialed in PRI in 2021. In 2022, he became licensed in Massage Therapy after graduating from River Valley Community College, making him the only person in North Carolina with his particular combination of certifications. His unique training allows him to work with a wide range of people, and he is committed to helping others find similar success to his own, especially in the context of post-physical therapy continuation of care. Phil uses manual and non-manual PRI techniques integrated with strength and conditioning and is also able to provide Swedish, deep tissue, and myofascial massage therapy.

Postural Restoration Center

At the time of PRI Credentialing, providers are required to submit verification of current licensure or certification status to determine eligibility for PRI Credentialing. It is the responsibility of credentialed providers to update the Postural Restoration Institute if their license or certification has expired, been suspended, or revoked, so that they can be removed from the PRI Find a Provider map. As Postural Restoration Institute places this responsibility on providers, it cautions consumers that they should not rely on Postural Restoration Institute’s website as evidence of a provider’s current licensure or certification status. Instead, the Postural Restoration Institute recommends that patients and clients wishing to verify a provider’s current licensure or certification status contact the relevant regulatory boards or reach out directly to the provider to ask for current verification of his or her licensure or certification. The Postural Restoration Institute is not liable for and disclaims any responsibility for services performed by PRI Credentialed providers.
