In 2005, Sidney achieved his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy and finished a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2006 from St. Catherine’s University in Minneapolis, MN.  Throughout his experience, he has had the opportunity to work with a wide range of populations varying from geriatric patients in the nursing home to pediatrics in the school system and all orthopedic outpatient conditions in-between.  In 2009, Sidney earned the designation of Postural Restoration Certified (PRC).  Since certification, he has served as a teaching assistant for PRI courses on multiple occasions and been active with continuing education of personal training and physical therapy.

Currently, Sidney is a Physical Therapist with Allina Health’s Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute in Apple Valley, MN.  As the only PRC in the Allina Health system, he is part of an orthopedic outpatient setting.

Sidney graduated from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, in 2000 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology.  While at the U of M he also earned a personal trainer certification from the American Council on Exercise (ACE).  He maintains a current personal training role at the Eagan Community Center, where he implements training programs that incorporate the methodology of PRI with fitness and performance.

At the time of PRI Credentialing, providers are required to submit verification of current licensure or certification status to determine eligibility for PRI Credentialing. It is the responsibility of credentialed providers to update the Postural Restoration Institute if their license or certification has expired, been suspended, or revoked, so that they can be removed from the PRI Find a Provider map. As Postural Restoration Institute places this responsibility on providers, it cautions consumers that they should not rely on Postural Restoration Institute’s website as evidence of a provider’s current licensure or certification status. Instead, the Postural Restoration Institute recommends that patients and clients wishing to verify a provider’s current licensure or certification status contact the relevant regulatory boards or reach out directly to the provider to ask for current verification of his or her licensure or certification. The Postural Restoration Institute is not liable for and disclaims any responsibility for services performed by PRI Credentialed providers.
