Physical Therapist and Owner of Essex Aquatic & Rehab Center

Veronica Paquette, PT, ATRIC, PRC is a 1990 graduate of the University of Vermont’s Physical Therapy program. Upon graduation through 2000 Veronica’s career involved providing care in the acute setting, general outpatients,in patient rehabilitation, work hardening programs and an outpatient aquatic program. In the year 2000, with encouragement from a local physician she started her own outpatient private practice. Over the last 13 years Veronica has developed a passion for working with people in the aquatic medium. She has been certified nationally by the Aquatic Therapy Rehab Institute since 1997, continuing to expand her knowledge of different ways to treat people in the water. People are able to move in the water with such ease and less pain that this really maximizes their rehab outcome. Essex Aquatic & Rehab Center installed two Hydroworx pools in 2004 with expanding patient satisfaction and business since. Along with continuing education and passion for aquatic physical therapy she has also been building her knowledge and practice of Postural Restoration since 2004. Utilizing these techniques and principals has improved patient outcomes in an expedited manner. Veronica attained her certification in Postural Restoration in December 2010, making Essex Aquatic & Rehab Center a certified facility. Essex Aquatic & Rehab Center will be developing and increasing the implementation and instruction of postural restoration techniques in the aquatic medium.

At the time of PRI Credentialing, providers are required to submit verification of current licensure or certification status to determine eligibility for PRI Credentialing. It is the responsibility of credentialed providers to update the Postural Restoration Institute if their license or certification has expired, been suspended, or revoked, so that they can be removed from the PRI Find a Provider map. As Postural Restoration Institute places this responsibility on providers, it cautions consumers that they should not rely on Postural Restoration Institute’s website as evidence of a provider’s current licensure or certification status. Instead, the Postural Restoration Institute recommends that patients and clients wishing to verify a provider’s current licensure or certification status contact the relevant regulatory boards or reach out directly to the provider to ask for current verification of his or her licensure or certification. The Postural Restoration Institute is not liable for and disclaims any responsibility for services performed by PRI Credentialed providers.
