Yoshi Mitsuyama began working for the US Army in June of 2020 as a tactical Athletic Trainer for the Fourth Combat Aviation Brigade. He continues his Athletic Training career working for the US Army after working for the Colorado Rapids Soccer Club for two years. Prior to his time with the Rapids, he worked for the University Missouri Science & Technology as assistant athletic trainer/rehabilitation coordinator. His responsibility is to design and coordinate the rehabilitation, reconditioning, and injury prevention programs for soldiers in the US Army. In May 2011, Yoshi earned Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training from University of Northern Colorado and received his Master of Science degree in Health and Human Performance from Fort Hays State University in December 2013 where he served as the graduate assistant athletic trainer for wrestling and track and field/cross country. In 2012, Yoshi served as the medical coordinator for the NCAA Division II Super Regional Four and Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Wrestling Championships. Mitsuyama is a native of Tokyo, Japan. He also completed a summer internship in 2011 with the Colorado Rapids (MLS), Sporting Kansas City (MLS) in 2014.
