Yusuke Nakayama currently works with TMG Athletics in Kusatsu City, Japan

Prior to moving home to Japan, Yusuke Nakayama was an assistant athletic trainer/performance scientist with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Prior to joining the Cavs, Nakayama worked with the Michigan State University Spartan Nutrition and Athletic Performance Program (SNAPP) after spending the 2012-13 NBA season as training staff intern with the Detroit Pistons.

He has also spent time with the MSU athletics (2009-13), ATTACK Athletics (2008 & 2012) and as an intern with the New York Knicks training staff (2008-09 season).

Nakayama has a Bachelor of Science in Sports Science from Waseda University in Japan, a Master of Science in Kinesiology from University of Arkansas in 2008 and a PhD in Kinesiology/Athletic Training from Michigan State University in 2013.

At the time of PRI Credentialing, providers are required to submit verification of current licensure or certification status to determine eligibility for PRI Credentialing.
