RJ graduated from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Psychology. RJ has been involved with the Institute throughout the past decade fulfilling many roles behind the scenes, and has since focused on the Role of Public Relations and Outreach. He enjoys forming meaningful relationships with course attendees and anyone interested in learning more about the science of PRI. In this role, he hopes to be a resource to the public as they undergo their PRI journey, and aid in any way possible to ensure that it is a positive experience. RJ has been a part of the institutes growth from a one room office to an international institute and has formed many relationships within the PRI family along the way. His hobbies include gardening, hunting, fishing, many recreational sports. In 2019 RJ married his wife Erin who is a Speech & Language Pathologist within the school setting. They have since welcomed Vivien 3, Jack (Ronald John Hruska IV) 2 and Violet 1, all within three years! Any available time they have outside of work is spent nurturing the growth and development of their kids, spending as much time as possible outdoors together with their Chocolate Lab, Rue, and Golden Retriever, Penny.
